Home from the Hospital

Clara, Shannon and I returned from the hospital on Friday at 6:30. We could have stayed another day, but Shannon was feeling well and all of us were tired of the interminable pin-pricks and weight checks that well-meaning nurses inflicted at 2 or 4 in the morning.
We were happy to learn that Clara likes her car seat, at least once the car starts going. On the way home, however, we were nearly body checked on Rainier by an errant Toyota Camry. Now I know why people get those "Baby on Board" signs -- they stop people from deliberately ramming your car.
Clara seems comfortable in her new home. And thanks to the lasagna and salad my parents brought over, I'm comfortable, too.
