Clara's 18-month stats

We just had our last well-baby visit with Dr. Danielson, and here are her latest stats:

Height: 33.5 inches (90th percentile)
Weight: 25 lbs., 7 oz. (50th percentile)
Head circumference: 18.25 inches

So, she's still our big girl, though her incredible growth arc seems to be flattening out just a bit. She's still as healthy as can be, and has an ever-increasing vocabulary. Recent language acquisitions include: towel, bagel, waffle, cow, duck, dog, frog, that, juice, and cheese. Add those to car, Volvo, uh-oh, mama, dada, and cat, and she's well within the 15-20 word range children are "supposed" to have acquired by 18 months.

Before our visit to the pediatrician, we met up with my friend Jennifer and her son Arlo at the "new" park near his office. Jennifer took this picture of Arlo and Clara sitting in the "cab" of this big toy truck.
