College Graduation Day

That's right, folks. Clara graduated from college today--or from the Parent-Child Center at Seattle Central Community College. Her fall plans are still in limbo as she is first on the waitlist for Lakewood Co-op Preschool and sixth for Rainier Valley Co-op Preschool. I'm sure once Lakewood re-reads the brilliant essay (yes, you must write an essay to get your child into preschool) I wrote on Clara's behalf, they will reconsider and admit her.

Clara has been attending Seattle Central since she was not quite 6 months old. When we first started, the kids all just sat on a mat together. Today, there were kids going down slides, using the potty, painting, speaking in full sentences, singing songs, and dancing under the streamers. Our little class has come so far!
